As I was photographing Courtney alone for a moment, Tom looked at me, paused and said, “Isn’t she the most beautiful girl in the world?” In that moment, I knew that even living an entire Atlantic Ocean apart, what Courtney and Tom have is so palpable, that those around them feel the genuinity of their affection. I know I did.
They met when Courtney spent a year studying abroad in England, on a random night that she wasn’t even planning on going out. Consequently, it was also a night that Tom and his friends had troubles catching a bus into town and he too, did not think he’d end up where he was that night. But as the story goes, they met that night, spent the rest of her year there together, and the rest is history…
Courtney currently lives in the states, while Tom is back in England working. They see each other as often as they can while planning the wedding and fostering their dreams of the future. Let me tell you, they have so many beautiful dreams.
After photos, we walked over to Superior Grill for a margarita and the two of them had me in tears laughing so hard with them as they engaged in banter back and forth. They play off of one another so very naturally.
Courtney and Tom, I absolutely cannot wait to document the start of your life together as one in April.
