I’ve known Brittany and Blake for quite some time now, and after dating for quite a few years, I knew that Brittany would construct a day that was a perfectly articulate representation of the classically romantic couple they are. What I didn’t prepare for was just how emotional their strong bond would make me, as an onlooker. From the letter he wrote Brittany, to every time his hand touched hers that day, Blake’s genuine affection was palpable.
Brittany is simply timeless–from the inside out, she’s such a genuine and beautiful soul.
Despite the never-ending rain on that Fall day, it just seemed to add a dreamy allure to the entire day. Houmas House Plantation is a simply breathtaking venue, and I think I might like it even better when sprinkled by rain drops…
Brittany and Blake opted for the sweetest, secluded area for a first look right before a storm came through. The genuine affection between these two is so very apparent.
As we took cover from the rain, Blake gave Brittany a hand-written note he’d written for her. Chivalry is not dead and gone, my friends…
And keeping with the spirit of giant hearts, Brittany surprised her parents with heartfelt hankies right before she took off with her dad down the aisle.
